Soprano Ukulele
Built as a gift for a friend.

All Mahogany, except the fretboard and bridge, which are rosewood. And the internal bracing is spruce.

I don’t know if the neck is the same species as the body, but I suspect it’s something different. It’s pretty close, though.
This is the lightest instrument I’ve built so far - only 11.25 oz.
The top and back are both single pieces - no bookmatch required.

I normally trim string ends a bit closer than this, but I expect these strings to be replaced once it gets to its new home.
For the record, these are Martin strings. They aren’t my favorite, but sound pretty good on this instrument - not quite as bright as the last one, but there’s definitely a ukey ‘bark’ to the sound. (The dog paw inlay doesn’t hurt, either.)
